My New Favorite Dress

I know I know, I keep saying this about my latest makes, but what can I do…? I really love this dress, it feels so good when pattern and print match so good, right?

I dreamed of making this dress as soon as I saw this print, its the second Groove Dress from Madeit Patterns I make for myself, this time in the high/low version and using another gorgeous print from NOSH Organics. Unfortunately this color of the print is no longer available but you can still another gorgeous ones here, I have some of this color and I LOVE it!

This is a straight size 10, no mods, apart from sleeve length and not folding the hem, since I went with a rolled hem finish for both the sleeve and dress hem. Gosh I love this high/low… I have some major plans for Christmas dresses for me and the girls and I’ll probably end up making another Groove for me, a hooded version in stretch velvet… maybe in red and I can disguise has Santa! hahahahah

Isn’t this print fabulous? Please NOSH can you make some more of this color-way? I need it bad! 😀 As usual with my experience with NOSH fabrics this is another perfect jersey, I’ve washed a few times already and it’s as beautiful as in the first day, and naturally super soft. I never get tired of pointing out that this is great quality organic cotton and totally worth the price tag.

And if you’re wondering my skin tan is no longer here and the nice weather is gone too, which I know its good news for the planet but not so much for a Summer creature like me… LOL Can we please skip winter already? hehehe

Naturally I’m a sucker for the twirl factor of this, unfortunately I was taking photos by myself and I still don’t have a remote… (SANTAAAAA have you read that? ) sooo yeah out of focus blurriness is what we have… hahahaha But I know you’re used to it by now. 😉
